Mike has raced with the CSCC for many years and continues to race with us today. In 2015, Mike accepted an invitation to become Club President.
As a former GT Champion, team owner and BTCC racer, Mike nowadays concentrates on building and preparing historic race cars as well as supporting the racing career of his son, Andrew, the 2013 BTCC Champion.
Mike started out preparing customer Porsches in 1987 with the family run team, Eurotech Racing. He developed Eurotech Racing into one of Britain's leading teams in GT and Porsche racing and the team went on to have many successful seasons in Motorsport winning over 30 Championships including BTCC, British GTO and the Porshce Cup 7 times.
Mike's racing career spans across more than 4 decades, starting at aintree in 1979 at the wheel of a Morris Minor with the Classic Saloon Car Club. Mike has gone on to take many Championship titles throughout his racing career including being crowned Porsche Cup Champion in both 1987 and 1991, claiming the Eurocar V8 title in 1996 and 1997 and becoming British GT Champion in 2001. Mike was voted Autosport British Club Racing Driver in 2001.
Following a season in the BTCC back in 1989 in a Peugeot 309 GTi, Mike made a return to the BTCC in 2006 contesting a Honda Integra run by his Eurotech Racing Team. Winning at Mondello Park in 2006 he became the oldest driver to win a BTCC race. He continued to race in the BTCC in 2007 and in 2008 alongside son, Andrew Jordan, they became the first father and son pairing in the 50 year history of the BTCC, racing as team mates. Since calling time on his BTCC career in 2009 to concentrate on Andrew's racing, Mike still manages to race from time to time. Mike continues to race with the CSCC and has raced for many years in Tin Tops and New Millennium, with regular success.
