The Adams & Page Swinging Sixties series is the CSCCs first race series and is now over ten years old, having first been run in 2003. Adams & Page Swinging Sixties is very well supported by a wonderful mix of Sports, Saloons and GT cars originally produced in the 1950's and 1960's. Compared to the Classic K series, this series allows modifications to cars and splits them into two separate groups for smaller and larger engined cars with a total of 9 classes. The Class structure is based on engine capacity to encourage competitive racing through the field and give everyone something to race for - there's even a class for Dunlop shod cars. This provides battles all down the field and provides great entertainment - spectators can come along and watch their favourite "oldies" being driven in spectacular fashion!
The races are run over forty minutes - much longer than most club races in the UK - and include the added excitement of a mandatory pit-stop. A 30 minute qualifying session will take place on the same day. Entries may be either single drivers, two drivers sharing a car or racing in relay in two cars.
All race-winning cars/drivers accumulate winners time penalties, helping to stop a single car from dominating.
In previous years we have taken the series to the Nordschleife full circuit (25km), Spa Francorchamps and even Daytona in the USA.
