Co-Founder of the Classic Sports Car Club.

Richard has always had a passion for Motorsport and took part in his first competitive event at Silverstone in 1967 in a Mini 7 race. He has extensive race and hillclimb experience in a number of cars during the 1960s and early 1970s but his competition days came to an end in the early 70's when he had a serious accident and it was then that he became actively involved with motorsport administration.

During his time with the Classic Sports Car Club Richard worked as Director, Chairman and performing the role of Clerk of the Course at race meetings before retiring from the club in 2014. He remains an Honorary member of the club.
